Upgrade from Archery Instructor/Level 1 Coach to Level 2 Coach
Archery Australia have reviewed their coaching framework and introduced new courses and qualifications. The new qualifications will be designated as Level 1 Coach and Level 2 Coach etc. with the old designations of Archery Instructor and Club Coach disappearing. AA is describing L1 coaches as Participation Coaches, L2 as Development Coaches and L3 as Pathways Coaches. All existing Archery Instructors are being automatically transitioned to Level 1 Coach from 31 October 2020 and will remain accredited until 31 December 2021. Club Coaches and Regional coaches are similarly being transitioned to L2 and L3. During 2021 SQAS plans to offer reaccreditation courses for these transitioned L1 and L2 coaches so that they can renew their accreditation for the next 3 year accreditation period.
